Pilates is a vigorous full body workout that stretches and strengthens simultaneously. The emphasis on engaging and moving from the body’s core or powerhouse allows the body to work uniformly, leaving no muscle over or undertrained. The six principles of Pilates: control, centering, concentration, precision, breathing and flow are taught to bring balance into the mind and body.

At Plank Pilates we view the classical Pilates Method as maintenance for your frame. We believe that providing our clients with a strong foundation will give them the strength, confidence and energy to accomplish their goals both inside and outside of the studio.
